Ignited the Freedom?s Flame quest chain instantly. What would?ve been a lengthy grind in Helldivers 2 was completed swiftly, unveiling a great storyline reward.
Rewards
The Freedom’s Flame premium Warbond is bursting with hot rewards that will set your loadout on fire (in a good way). Completing this Warbond unlocks a whole treasure trove of weapons, armor and vanity items – all fire and freedom themed. Here’s a breakdown of the awesome rewards waiting for you and what makes each one special:
- SG-451 Cookout (Primary Shotgun): A pump-action shotgun that spits out incendiary phosphorus pellets. Perfect for cooking swarms of Terminids to a crisp – this boomstick turns a Bug barbecue into a quick affair. High damage and a nice whoomp sound with each fiery blast.
- FLAM-66 Torcher (Primary Flamethrower): A shoulder-carried flamethrower that shoots a constant stream of fire. It’s basically a portable Flamethrower Stratagem made into a gun – not safe for anyone (enemies and careless squadmates) but oh so effective. When you need to purge xenos with extreme prejudice the Torcher lets you bathe the battlefield in napalm.
- P-72 Crisper (Secondary Weapon): A one-handed mini-flamethrower sidearm – yes, a flamethrower in your back pocket! This tiny handgun shoots a short-range jet of “freedom flames," so you can carry a bit of extra burn for close encounters. Good if you want firepower and a regular gun at the same time.
- I-09 Heatseeker Armor (Light Armor & Helmet): A lightweight Helldiver armor set with blood-red plating over a black jumpsuit. Comes with an Inflammable passive that gives 75% fire damage resistance. You can literally stand in the fire and keep fighting – perfect for those “burn baby burn” moments. The matching Heatseeker Helmet completes the look, so you can charge through napalm like the hero your mother always said you were.
- I-102 Draconaught Armor (Medium Armor & Helmet): A heavier armor suit with orange-and-black plating over a white undersuit, also with the Inflammable passive (75% fire resistance). The Draconaught armor lets you wade into infernos and hear the enemy “screeches as the enemies of freedom burn” (music to any Helldiver’s ears). It’s a good balance of protection and pyrotechnic style, helmet included.
As you can see, Freedom’s Flame is bursting with good stuff that can really change your gameplay. These rewards aren’t just cosmetic; the weapons and armor add new playstyles and survivability (especially if you like fire-based combat), and the booster and emotes are just extra fun. Unlocking them all will turn you into a walking inferno on the battlefield – a proud beacon of freedom (and flame) that other Helldivers will see in awe.
