Sea of Thieves Fort of the Damned is a cursed fortress event that brave pirates can call for one of the toughest challenges on the seas. A ghostly fog surrounds the island fort, and Shadow Skeletons are at every turn. To even start this encounter, pirates must collect all six Flames of Fate and a Ritual Skull as part of a dark ritual. Once you complete the ritual, an ominous red-eyed skull cloud appears in the sky and broadcasts your move to every pirate on the server. Inside, waves of skeletons (each glowing with a different cursed flame color) attack in sequence, and then you face off against the Ghost of Graymarrow himself. It’s like a skeleton rave party — except you’re not on the guest list until you bring the right lantern colors! Buying our Sea of Thieves Fort of the Damned Boost, you can skip the flame-fetching grind and walk straight into the vault-clearing dance floor with loot waiting at the end.

Rewards

Clearing the Fort of the Damned in Sea of Thieves rewards you with a treasure trove of high tier loot. Here are the rewards you can expect from a Fort of the Damned run:

  • Chest of Legends – The legendary Sea of Thieves chest for Pirate Legends, full of gold and massive Athena’s Fortune reputation gains. Even if you’re not a Pirate Legend yet selling this to the Mysterious Stranger will fill your coffers and get you closer to legend status.
  • Reaper’s Chest / Reaper’s Bounty – Usually two of these spawn, each an eerie chest that beams a red or golden light into the sky. Turn them in to the Reaper’s Bones for thousands of gold (and Sea of Thieves Doubloons if it’s a Reaper’s Bounty) plus significant Reaper’s Bones rep. Just holding one makes you a target since they’re visible on the map – but with ChaosBoost boost, you won’t have to worry about losing them.
  • Stronghold Chests – Two high value Sea of Thieves chests in the vault, each worth a lot of gold. These are the treasures of the fort and will make the Gold Hoarders very happy when sold.
  • Stronghold Skulls – Four villainous skulls from the fort’s defeated captains. Hand these to the Order of Souls for a big payout and rep boost. They’re proof you beat some of the Fort’s toughest skeletons.
  • Crates of Ancient Bone Dust – Two rare cargo crates filled with bone dust. These sell for a lot to the Merchant Alliance or Gold Hoarders – a nice bonus on top of the fort loot.
  • Stronghold Gunpowder Barrels – Four big kegs that pack a punch. You can sell these or save them for later. (Just don’t blow yourself up – they’re basically pirate TNT!)
  • Mermaid Gems – Several random Mermaid Gems (sapphire, emerald, ruby) in the vault, including some in a Collector’s Chest. Gems can be sold to any faction, so they’re good for whatever rep you want to boost.
  • Heaps of Gold and Doubloons – All the loot combined is tens of thousands of gold. Plus, completing Fort of the Damned unlocks commendations that give Doubloons (Sea of Thieves’ currency), especially if it’s your first few times doing it. More completions = more achievements = more doubloons and even unique cosmetics.

In short, the Fort of the Damned Sea of Thieves loot is unmatched. By the end you’ll have a ship full of goodies: enough to buy a fleet of galleons or that fancy ship cosmetic you’ve been eyeing. And if you’re chasing Pirate Legend or maxing out Reaper’s Bones rank, this fort’s loot will get you there faster than you can say “Yo ho ho!”

Requirements

Before we start your Sea of Thieves Fort of the Damned boost, make sure you meet a few simple requirements. Don’t worry – we keep them minimal:

  • Sea of Thieves Account – You must own Sea of Thieves and have an active pirate character. (Xbox or Steam account login details will be needed only if you opt for the Piloted boost.)
  • Platform – PC or Xbox are both supported. Our service is cross-platform, so it doesn’t matter where you play as long as you can join a Sea of Thieves session with us.

You don’t need to bring your own Sea of Thieves Ritual Skull or Flames of Fate – our crew can supply those as part of the service. We make it as easy as possible for you to hop in and get the rewards without any hassle.

How to Complete Fort of the Damned Boost in Sea of Thieves

Completing the Fort of the Damned in Sea of Thieves is complex if you’re doing it alone, but our boost simplifies the process. Here’s a quick rundown of how we (or you, if you’re curious) complete this event from start to finish:

  • Preparation: Collect all six Flames of Fate. Each flame color is obtained by dying in a specific way (for example, green from skeletons, blue from sharks, purple from snake venom, white from lightning, red from fire or a volcano, or pink from an enemy pirate). This often means a crew member deliberately dies in, ahem, creative fashions to gather each flame on the Ferry of the Damned, then brings the colored flames back to the ChaosBoost ship’s lanterns. Alternatively, use a Skull of Destiny from a Pirate Legend voyage to skip this step (it conveniently contains every flame color in one skull).
  • Get a Ritual Skull: You’ll need a Ritual Skull to start the fort. These can be obtained via certain voyages (like Bilge Rat skull stash voyages), by defeating Skeleton Ships or Ashen Lords, or by finding them in emergent skeleton captain battles. ChaosBoost boosters usually have one ready to go. (In Season 9+, even emergent Ghost Ship fleets can drop a Ritual Skull, so we have plenty of routes to snag one.)
  • Sail to the Fort: The fort is located at Old Boot Fort (map coordinate L-14 in The Ancient Isles), now transformed into the Fort of the Damned. We sail there and park our ship strategically (usually on the north side of the island) for quick cannon access and an easy getaway if needed. We also douse our lanterns to avoid drawing unnecessary attention on approach.
  • Start the Fort: This is where the magic (and mayhem) happens. We take each Flame of Fate to the corresponding statue inside the fort’s main chamber – six statues must be lit with the six colored flames. Once all statues are lit, we place the Ritual Skull on the central altar. Boom – thunder and spooky music – the fort is live!
  • Fight the Shadow Waves: Waves of Shadow Skeletons spawn, each wave attuned to a different flame color. We coordinate to shine the correct lantern light on the skeletons to make them vulnerable, then dispatch them with cutlasses, pistols, and the occasional cannonball from our ship. The waves get tougher and tougher, but we know the drill and use the environment (and a few spare Gunpowder Barrels) to our advantage.
  • Kill the Boss: After about a dozen waves, the big bad appears – Ghost of Graymarrow, a spectral Skeleton Lord. He’s tanky and hits hard, with abilities like summoning more Shadows of Fate and a shockwave attack. ChaosBoost strategy is to unload everything we’ve got: cannonballs, Firebombs, blunderbuss blasts, and even gunpowder kegs if we saved some. Teamwork is key here – one pirate might keep Graymarrow distracted (or illuminated with the correct flame) while the others do the damage. Eventually, even this ghostly tyrant falls.

So that’s it for completing a Fort of the Damned Boost run. When you use our Sea of Thieves boost, we do all the work while you get the loot. Think of it as a textbook Fort of the Damned run, done for you by seasoned pirates who’ve done it many times.

FAQ

Got questions about the Sea of Thieves Fort of the Damned Boost? Here’s a treasure chest full of answers for the most common concerns from fellow pirates. Whether you’re new to Sea of Thieves or a seasoned buccaneer, this section covers all the essentials before you raise anchor.

Is this boost safe and allowed?

Yes, our Fort of the Damned Boost is safe. We follow all the normal game mechanics (no cheats or exploits) – we’re just very experienced players helping you out. Sea of Thieves is a cooperative/PvE game at its core, so having assistance to complete a tough event isn’t against any rules. As for your account security, if we’re piloting, we use secure VPN connections and never do anything sketchy on your pirate. ChaosBoost has a strong reputation in the boosting community for trustworthiness. We also recommend enabling two-factor authentication on your account and temporarily changing your password for the boost (you can change it back right after). Your pirate is in good hands with us.

What if I don’t have the Flames of Fate or a Ritual Skull?

No problem at all! Our Sea of Thieves crew comes prepared. We will obtain all required Flames of Fate (there are six – green, blue, purple, white, red, and pink – each from a different cause of death) and the Ritual Skull needed to start the event. In fact, our boosters often carry a Skull of Destiny, which is a special skull that already contains all six Flames of Fate (a Pirate Legend perk). That means we can activate the fort very quickly without having to collect each flame color one by one. So you don’t need to provide anything. Just sit back and watch the magic (literally, colorful magic flames) happen.

What if other players attack during the boost?

Sea of Thieves Fort of the Damned Boost can attract attention from rival crews, since that skull cloud is basically a neon “loot here” sign. Our team is very experienced in dealing with interference. We take precautions like scouting the horizon and even raising a Reaper’s Bones Emissary flag (since we’re going to be visible anyway, might as well earn extra gold). If another crew shows up, we’re ready to either negotiate an alliance or fight them off. Our priority is ensuring you get your loot. In the rare case of overwhelming opposition, we can pause and retry the event on a quieter server or at a later time. Your boost is insured – you will get your Fort of the Damned loot, one way or another.

Can I play on my Xbox while using this service?

Absolutely, Sea of Thieves Boost is cross-play. If you choose the self-play boosting option, you can be on Xbox or PC and join our crew with no issues. If you choose the piloted option and you’re on Xbox, we have ways to safely access your account (through the Xbox app on PC or the cloud) to perform the boost. Either way, console players are welcome. Just ensure you can communicate via Xbox Party Chat or Discord for coordination if you’re playing alongside us.
